Jolie is slated for the role of Karina, the ex-wife of a concert pianist named Richard (Waltz). He has suffered many losses, including estrangement from his daughter when he was diagnosed with ALS. When the nervous disease worsens and Richard can no longer play the piano or live alone, Karina reluctantly steps in to be his caregiver. STX Films has acquired the global rights to the film. Michael Sucsy (47, “The Vow”) will direct.
